Engagement Manager

Full-Time in Austin, TX - Client Services

We're looking for an Engagement Manager to help our Enterprise client base successfully launch data.world into their organization. data.world provides a modern data catalog for organizations, empowering their hidden data workforce, cataloging both data and analysis, and partnering to enable a data-driven culture across the organization. As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our client-facing technical strategies. The successful candidate should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about our vision. This person should be resourceful and able to independently encourage clients to meet mutually agreed upon objectives and milestones. You will work closely with our product team to identify user needs that data.world can solve. You will play a critical role in helping data.world achieve its mission.

At data.world, you will:

  • Plan and guide client enablement projects -- defining project scope, goals, deliverables and required resources, along with creating schedules and project timelines for each client engagement.
  • Set and facilitate client meetings with agendas, recaps and tracked deliverables
  • Report and present to stakeholders on project progress, both internally and externally, and escalating to leadership as needed
  • Conduct end-user training

We’d love to see:

  • At least 5 years of experience in high tech software/SaaS, preferably in the data space
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), listening, presentation skills
  • Ability to lead a meeting / command a room
  • Detail-oriented and enthusiasm for solving problems in real time
  • Willing to travel (est. 25%+)
